• Account data: name, email address, and profile picture, obtained when you sign up or log in (including Google sign-in).
• Activity data: your predictions, tournament participation, scores, and ranking position.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and identifiers generated while using the service.
• Usage and analytics data: pages visited, interactions, and performance metrics.
• Marketing data: campaign parameters (UTM) and visit source, where applicable and with your consent.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account and let you take part in prediction tournaments.
• Compute scores, rankings, and display results.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the service and its security.
• Communicate with you about the service (notices, support, and relevant changes).
• Measure usage and performance through analytics tools.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on: performance of the contract (providing the service), your consent (e.g., for analytics cookies or marketing communications), our legitimate interest (improving and securing the service), and compliance with legal obligations.

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the service work, remember your preferences, and measure usage. We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2: analytics and marketing cookies are only enabled if you give consent. You can manage your preferences from the cookie banner or your browser settings.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us operate the service and act as processors under our instructions:

• Infrastructure and hosting providers (e.g., Vercel for application hosting).
• Database and authentication providers (e.g., Supabase and Google sign-in).

• The company or organization that invites you to a tournament, which can see your participation within its space.
• Authorities, when legally required to do so.

7. Tournaments run by third parties (multi-tenant)

TheProde is a white-label platform: companies and organizations create their own tournament space and invite participants. When you join an organization's tournament, that organization can access your participation data (name, predictions, scores) within its space. That organization's handling of your data is governed by its own policies.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where some of our providers operate. In those cases we adopt appropriate safeguards to protect your information under applicable law.

9. Data retention

We keep your personal data while you maintain an active account and for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or our legal obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, as well as to object to or restrict its processing and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at contacto@theprode.app.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No system is completely secure, but we continuously work to safeguard your information.

12. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under the minimum legal age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the current version on this page and indicate the last updated date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
